Make it a Happy “Turducken” Day

Ever hear of a Turducken?  Some people love to eat one around Thanksgiving.  For guys who have watched football for years you know there is such a thing. It’s not the same as a jackalope, ha.  A Turducken is a deboned turkey stuffed with a deboned duck, stuffed with a deboned chicken. It is claimed to have originated down south (Lousiana area) and those who have had it say its quite tasty.  And if poultry is yummy to you it well should be.  What a mixture of flavors !  Maybe thats that missing link evolutionists keep searching for to validate their warped theory !!

Sounds like the turducken would take a lot of work to prepare. I think I’d rather just cook all three birds separately, thank you very much.  As you start to read the creation account in Genesis you note the word “kind” God uses repeatedly when referring to the various creatures He made, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his KIND, cattle and creeping thing, and the beast of the earth after his KIND, and it was so.”  (Gen.1:24).   There was a reason for this, it speaks against evolving creatures and for the instantaneous creation of each of the unique types of critters God fashioned on that particular day !   God surely anticipated the folly of the teachings of evolution to explain away Him.

I recall as a boy going to an auction with my grandparents and as we walked around there were many people milling about and my grandmother said what she enjoyed the most was seeing the many different people who though humans still had their own uniqueness.  We did not come from apes or amoebas or plankton. God made us and He made us special above all His creation, in His image and likeness ! “. . .in the image of God created He him (man); male and female created He them.”    Sometimes we don’t always feel special but truth is we are to God ! If not, He would have said otherwise and He wouldn’t have died on the cross nor given us the Bible !!   But we are like the turducken perhaps in this respect, we’re unique. Even if you are an identical twin you are still unique, there’s only one of you and the Lord knows you very very well.  You have been blessed with talents that someone else does not have, you have experiences God has allowed only you to have, etc.   There is even with humanity a certain uniqueness that broadcasts to the world the incredible wisdom of God in fashioning you just so.   So don’t worry about trying to fit into some worldly template, fit into God’s as Paul wrote in Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world; but be YE transformed by the renewing of your mind, that YE may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”   God is happy when we keep carefully reading and heeding His Word as He can develop you more and more into a wonderfully exquisite and unique child of God !
