The Word of God – We believe the Holy Bible is God’s complete written revelation to mankind. It consists of both the Old & New Testaments and is the ONLY and FINAL authority for faith and practice (2 Tim.3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matt.5:18)

The Godhead – We believe in ONE God existing co-equally and co-eternally in three Persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit (Gen.1:1; Matt.28:19; Jn.14:7-12)

Salvation –  We believe salvation is a gift of God brought to man and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of sin. No human works can earn salvation; that salvation is also eternal (Jn.1:12; 10:28; Eph.1:7; 2:8-9)

Creation – We believe God created the heavens and the earth, including all life in six literal solar days (Gen.1:2; Jn.1:3; Col.1:16-17) and also that man should have dominion or rule over creation yet not usurp God’s dominion by seeking to “control the climate” or play God (Gen.1:28).

The Church – We believe the local church is God’s program for this age and that it is a living, spiritual body of which Christ is the Head (Matt.16:16-18; 1 Cor.12:12-13). It is to be made up of baptized (immersed) believers, assembled for worship and service of our Lord (Matt.28:19-20; Acts 2). The pastor is to be the leader under Christ with the members extended authority by His Word to govern the local church (Acts 6; Acts 15; 1 Tim.3:1-9; Titus 1:6-9).

Ordinances of the Church – We believe the Bible instructs the local church to conduct two ordinances: baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper (Matt.28:19; Rom.6:3-5; 1 Cor.11:23-32). There is NO saving power in either of these. Baptism must be performed only upon those who have already trusted in Christ for their salvation and is a prerequisite for church membership.  The Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s death and only believers walking in obedience to Him should partake of the cup and the bread. We do not hold to closed nor open communion.

The Coming of Christ – We believe Jesus will return in two stages: (1) the Rapture (which is imminent and pre-tribulational, 1 Thess.4:13-18; 1 Cor.15:50-58) for His church.  (2) The Second Coming (which succeeds the Tribulation period and precedes the Millenial reign of Christ upon the earth, Rev.19:11-16). This phase of His coming will be accompanied with His saints to rule and reign the earth with Him for 1000 years prior to the Eternal State.

Angels – We believe angels are created, personal and spirit beings. Satan was created as an angel and led a third of the angels in rebellion against God and is doomed with the rest of these demons to an eternity in the lake of fire. Those angels who choses not to follow Satan serve God and minister to believers (Is.14:12-15; Lk.1:19,26; Heb.1:14)

The Person and Work of Christ – We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and that He is true God and true man  (Is.7:14; Matt.1:18-25)

We believe that our Lord died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sin and that all who receive Him by trusting in His finished work upon the cross are justified by His shed blood (Rom.3:24-26; 2 Cor.5:21).   Further, we believe that He rose from the dead, which fact guarantees our salvation, and that He ascended into heaven bodily and that He presently exists in heaven interceding for the saved (Matt.28:5-6; Acts 1:9; Heb.7:23-25).
